Thanks for sharing this. In general, my orientation to any explanation of the great mysteries of what orders and disorders our world is "hey maybe!" Though to me, the beauty is truly in the mystery itself, what Abraham Joshua Heschel called "the meaning beyond absurdity." I also think that notions that provide hope and optimism about our future are helpful (and agree that deep down we may be on a track moving in the right direction). I worry a bit about theories that invite us to be complacent though -- I think we have responsibilities to make the effort to make the world a better place for ourselves and future generations. Indeed I think for me that's a lot of where I find meaning in my life.
